I just realised that the topic I revived the other day is buried in a Tale of Epic Gamers sub forum rather than in the main 6mm section.

I thought perhaps I should start a new topic here to keep track of things I work on!

After years in mothballs I've dug out my Space Wolves for Epic. First to be completed are a unit of Skyclaws and a unit of Scouts!

These lack varnish and snow flock but they're pretty much done in my eyes!

Ive never liked those particular Assault marine sculpts, but with your paint job I mist reconsider. They look great! And the scouts are awesome!

Thanks guys!

@Wakelessrex
They are very primitive compared to the hand sculpted ones or the 30k era ones I've seen but they are the only 40k mk7 power armour ones I have access to! The Blood Claws are exactly the same sculpt but without the jump packs, that's next on my to-do list along with some Long Fangs and Grey Hunters.

Forgot to upload these, here!

6x stands of Grey Hunters and 6x stands of Blood Claws done. Not sure what list I'm really aiming for so I'm mostly doing things in vanilla Astartes sizes to start with.

Still haven't varnished or added snow to the bases so these are just rough photos of them 'nearly finished'.

Finally dug these up to have another go at them! Varnished and snow-based my guys, they look so good with the Valhallan Blizzard on them!

Very nice. The snow works well at small scales

man this just get's better and better.

the yellow on the chassis feels a wee bit plain however. Maybe echo the chevron rune on one or two there? Like off to the right side maybe

That's a fair critique, JZ but I'm afraid I am just so sick of the sight of them I am going to leave them plain, ha ha! Maybe I'll revisit them after I've done over 3000 points worth.

Dang I just realised, it's been so long - I actually finished my rhinos and forgot to upload a pic!

Again, these are old models that I started on when I was very inexperienced and had as a foothill of my lead mountain for a long time. I had the idea of adding symbols to the tops which seemed a good idea at the time.

I love the little extra details. Suitably wolfish!
