This month was somewhat of a mixed bag:

Bad News: I was only home for a few days due to travel and only got three painting evenings
Good News: I still got a little bit done (hitting quota)
Bad News: I flying tomorrow again with no time to take pics of the stuff (which is still sticky with varnish anyhow)

I managed to finish:
8 Swooping Hawks (300)
8 Striking Scorpions (300)
8 Banshees (300)
8 Fire Dragons (300)

18 Jetbikes (600)
8 Wave Serpents (400)
1 Cobra (the missing second one) (250)
2 Objectives (0)

So 2450 points. Decent but I was really hoping to wrap up all the Aspect Warriors this month. I did manage to paint a Halfling Bloodbowl team on the road though...

Left to do for next month are the remaining Aspect Warriors, Flyers and Titans. And then it's either Tyranids or AdMech/Knights/Titans...

Pics will come in 10 days when I am back home. Sorry...

You did all that in 3 evenings? Do you have servitors? :O

I think that must be Helge's secret. A room full of paint-servitors. ;D

Blimey ! I thought i was quite efficient (just don't get much time) ! Just how far North is Montreal anyway ? Are you 23 hour "evenings" ?

All looks stunning too. Very effective striking scheme - looking forward to army pictures.

Alright, I am finally back in buisness. Haven't done anything for June yet, but at least I can upload the pics from May. First the aspect warriors:

The Farseer on top indicates where the Farseer stand goes if they transport Guardians (yes, I lost the turret...).

Nice!

If you havent already, definitely add that second layer of highlight to the righthand tank - the one on the left really pops in comparison.

Both Void Spinners actually have exactly the same highlights and painting steps. They definitely look similar in real life. Must be the lighting or image processing that somehow flattened the final highlights on the right model. The transitions of the highlights are also not really visible in real life. I think the problem is that I take the photo, then do a level adjustment which artifically introduces quantization right at the highlight range.

June was another depressingly short month in terms of painting time. It took me until June 28th to find the time to even upload the May results, much less paint anything. June 29th-30th gave me a few hours to at least "meet quota":

2 Vampires (400)
3 Nightwing Interceptors (300)
3 Phoenix Bombers (400)
8 Dark Reapers (300)
8 Dire Avengers (300)
======
1700 points

I also managed to magnetise the two Titans. Photos to come this week when I find time.

This leaves two aspect warrior groups (Warp Spiders and Shining Spears), the Titans (two big, two small) and the leadership (Autarch & Avatar). Technically only 22 models, though the 4 Titans distort things a bit. Still, I might be able to finish this in July...
