This will be one of the two special rules (Regeneration is the other) under Xeno-Biology. I'm looking for some thoughts on this:

Mobility: Tyranid armored vehicle and war engine units do not take dangerous terrain tests, in addition Tyranid light vehicle units count as infantry for the purposes of terrain (see EA 1.8 ).
Fortification terrain features, such as minefields or razorwire, and special terrain features, such as lava flows, affect Tyranids normally.


When I asked Jaldon whether 'nid LVs should be getting cover saves under this rule he said yes. To clarify that I've amended the language slightly.

Would LVs count as infantry or vehicles for special terrain?

They'd be treated as infantry. Essentially they'd be Heavy Infantry, an idea that was tossed around a year or two back.

I think Mobility is pretty much universally accepted, and that's a good rewording to make the benefits of cover apply.
