Hello Ladies and Gents! Maplewood Hobby will be hosting a Adeptus Titanicus Tournament in November. Below you will find the information for the event as well as the Facebook event created! Hopefully see you there.

Time: Registration/Set-up starts at 9:30 with first round kicking off at 10:00

Cost: $15 – Pay at venue

Duration: Three rounds each being 2.5 hours each.

Space is limited to 20 Players – If all 20 spots are gone I will set up a reserve list.

3 Stratagem Points for Titan Armies with Legions (5 for Non-Legio). Knight armies follow rulebook for generating Stratagem points.

If you are running a Custom Legio - please run it by me first.

2-List format: You can have two lists for this tournament, reveal lists to opponent at same time. If a Titan Maniple Army, secondary list can only be Titan Maniple; If Knight Banner, secondary list can only be Knight banner. Each force must include at least one completed maniple or knight banner.

There is a painting requirement. Three color minimum, basing not required. If there are any questions on whether your titan/knight will be allowed please do not hesitate to contact me.
BUT WHAT IF MY MODELS ARE UNPAINTED? This event has a minimum standard of painted forces. However - we know that life sometimes gets in the way. If you want to bring unpainted models, please contact the TO at: MaplewoodHobbyTournament@gmail.com

RULES: Rules follow all three books (General Rulebook, Titaneath, Doom of Moloch). Further, Advanced rule set is in effect, as well as Building Destruction from Optional Rules. Treat all Buildings and rocks as Armour 10 (remember, if split firing, one weapon may target and destroy a building while another my target whomever is behind it). Indestructible terrain will be clearly marked before game begins.
ARMY LIST RESTRICTIONS/VARIATIONS TO RULES:
• Porphyrion: Due to the nature of Porphyrions and their power level, the following restrictions have been applied. Titan Armies can only take 0-2 Porphyrions, Knight Banners may take 0-4 Porphyrions.
• Any rule questions that come up will be found in the main rulebook or the Errata/FAQ.

Stratagems will be generated at the beginning of each round of the tournament and can be changed between rounds 1-3.
All Stratagems are allowed – however if choosing a tertiary objective there is a limit of only 0-1 (so prepare accordingly as per mission objectives). The following variations to stratagems:
o Strafing Run: Instead of hitting all Titans/knights along the line – strafing run hits only one titan along the line. The Titan/knights are chosen by the player who purchased the stratagem. Cost and other effects remain the same.
o Titan Killer Infantry: In order to activate a pair of infantry models, it must take the order activation of a titan/knight banner. If there are no other titans/knights to give orders to, no other infantry can be activated. Cost and other effects remain the same.

Mission Objectives – Instead of generating the mission objective cards from the book, each round has a two specific missions. Secretly indicate which mission you are playing towards and reveal at the same time when deployment side is rolled. At the end of the round tally Victory Points. MOST missions have had their Victory Points/Win Conditions changed due to balance/fairness – please read each mission carefully! Mission packet is attached to this post.

Mission Packet found here (plan your forces accordingly. Remember only 0-1 tertiary objective stratagems can be generated:

Round 1: Deployment type – Lines of Battle. After sides have been chosen, pick between the following two missions secretly:

Hold the Line: At the end of the Battle, score 5 victory Points if there are no enemy units within 12” of the scoring players’ battlefield. Score another 5 if there are none within 18” of the battlefield edge, another 10 if there are none within 24” and another 10 victory points if there are none within 30”. At the end of the battle, also score victory points equal to half the scale of each destroyed enemy titan (rounding up).

Vital Cargo: After a player with this objective has finished deploying, they must secretly write down THREE of their titans/knights that are on the battlefield – this is the titan that is carrying the cargo. If that titan/knight squad is within 1” of the enemy’s battlefield edge at the end of any round, they can remove it from play to secure the cargo. The titan/knight squad does not count as being destroyed, but plays no further part in the battle. If the titan/knight squad carrying the cargo is destroyed, place a marker where the center of the base was to show the location of the fallen cargo. If the cargo is secure, score 10 victory points. If the cargo is not secure, but there are no enemy units within 12” of the titan carrying it (or the marker representing the fallen cargo) at the end of the battle, score 5 victory points. At the end of the battle, the player with this objective scores victory points equal to the scale of their titans that are within 12” of the enemy board edge.

Generate Stratagems that will be used for the game round 1. Roll off as normal. If tabled, continue to play through rounds as more points may be generated.

Round 2: Deployment type – Close Quarters. After sides have been chosen, pick between the following two missions secretly:

Retrieval: Deploy the “Lost Crew” as per the retrieval mission in the Rulebook. Knights may pick up the Crew as well but cannot be given the “full stride” order. At the end of the battle, the player with this objective scores 25 victory points if the crew has been recovered off the table, or 15 victory points if the crew has not been recovered but is being held by a friendly Titan or Knight. At the End of the battle, score 2 points for each destroyed enemy unit with scale of 4 or less, and 5 victory points for each destroyed enemy unit of scale 5 or more.

King of the Hill: Place three objective markers on the battlefield: One in the center, and two objective markers 6” from either table edge (in between the two players). Every turn, count the scale of titans that are within 6” of each objective marker. If the player with this objective has a higher cumulative scale of titans/knights within 6” of an objective, they score 3 victory points - up to 9 victory points a turn. At the end of the Battle, score 2 points for each destroyed enemy unit, and 1 point for every crippled enemy unit.
Generate Stratagems that will be used for the game round 2. Roll off as normal. If tabled continue to play through rounds as more points may be generated.

Mission 3: Deployment type – Stand Off. After sides have been chosen, pick between the following two missions secretly:

Engage and Destroy: At the end of the battle, score victory points for each enemy unit that is structurally compromised or completely destroyed. Structurally compromised units grant a number of victory points equal to their scale. Destroyed units grant a number of victory points as follows: Scale 1-3, 4 VP; Scale 4-6, 6 VP; Scale 7-9, 10 VP; Scale 10+, 15 VP. At the end of the battle, the player calculates the total scale of their units. If they still have at least half of their starting total at the end of the battle, they score 5 victory points

Glory and Honor: At the start of the battle, determine which three enemy units have the highest points cost. If four or more units are tied for the highest points cost, the opposing player must choose three of them when this objective is chosen. Score 20 Victory Points for each unit destroyed during the first round, 15 for each if it is destroyed in the second and 10 for each if it is destroyed the third round or later. At the end of the battle, divide the battle into four 2x2’ quarters. The player with this objective scores 3 victory points for each quarter which contains at least one of their units and no enemy units.

Generate Stratagems that will be used for the game round 3. Roll off as normal. If tabled continue to play through rounds as more points may be generated.
