Heavy support Knights(Quake cannons) are one of the best Imperial unit you can field
they have a 100cm range with their quake cannon,
which can bring down buildings easily
also the 2+ unmodified save is fantastic when used carefull
place them near to your table edge and let them on FF

If using SH tanks I would prefer Shadowswords
the vulcano cannon is great for blowing up Tempest tanks and Falcons
any other SH tanks have to move at least up to 75cm to the enemie
which is not a good choice when facing an army like Eldar
which has a lot of good hitting(4+ and better) 75cm ranged weapons

Lighter Kinghts(Paladins Lancers Errants) can be great but use them carefull
they can be killed by easy when attacked in CC
also their armour is weak from side and rear
concentrate them and do not let any enemy flank you

DNME army choice looks good to me all over

the paladins are good all round and if used well can be devestating in any role. The 2 heavies are good but sometimes the points cost is bit much at times, also their autocannon short range at 50cm but they are good. The shield facing is critical and one of the things you have to be careful of, but if you can use knights they are worth it.
