Hi Dave!

I notist preparing my list for an upcoming tournament that the statline notes for the Dark Eldar raider and barge of pleasure vehicles say that:

Quote:
"Units being transported may shoot."

In the raiders book it also says that transported units could FF in an assault when on their transports as per the below quote:

Quote:
Units being transported may fire with any ranged weapons, and use their firefight value in an assault or to lend supporting fire.

As far as I know the ability to use the FF value hasn't been changed to just shooting (and no one else seems to remember that either as I got no answer when I asked in the eldar forum).
I assume the current wording is to save space in the online pack or an omission, but please add something about being able to use FF in assaults as well. It's not clear otherwise and might become an issue.

Hey Borka.

That ability was removed, along with the same ability on the Trukk and Junkatrukk. I think it was 2012 or 13? Tiny-Tim, NealHunt and Mosc (or maybe Chroma) were involved I believe. Tiny-Tim might be able to supply the "why", I don't remember specifically but I'm guessing it had something to do with hit allocation or some form of assault minutia.

Plague Tower transport is borken: 'May transport twelve Great Unclean Ones or infantry units without Jump Packs or Mounted; Great Unclean Ones count as two units each.'

Is there any news on the correct profile for Plaguebearers?

It should be 16 transport units?

Nothing back from Steve yet.

As far as I'm aware it should be 16, but it's definitely not 12 Great Unclean Ones!

Seven would be fluffier. Or possibly slimier.

I know, it's like some sort of co-ordinated conspiracy against my cunning plans.

Hi Dave

You do great work. I know that some players don't really know how much work you put in and how much you do for the Epic gaming community, but here's just a note to let you know it's definitely appreciated.

Thanks!
