I believe in setting goals in steps and once they are met going further..

So for me it is 50k points first.  :;):

Yes, I agree, the T/Hawk Transport (T/H/T) would be of limited tactical use alone.  I think the F/W boyz saw the news where USMC LAVs were slung loaded (hanging) under  CH-53 choppers.  (Being a former 101 Air Ops Officer, I have some experience with air assault ops. :D )   You'd need 2-4 or more T/H/Ts to go into the LZ after it has be secured by troops in Drop Pods and/or T/Hawks.  I try to use Drop Pods, T/Hawks, Drop Ships/Landing Craft and aircraft all in a "Strike Package" together.  As far as the new E:A Landing Craft.  I think S/G figured it be cheaper to make a model where vehicles were slung on gantries, instead of making a model that  that might actually look like it could hold (ACL) 6 Rhinos or 4 L/Raiders.  Remember the limited run "after SM2/TL" Drop Ship (I got 2 ! :;): ).  It is really a bit small  for that ACL and cost over $70 !    :;):

that was always my thinking as well

I would prefer a "real" Space Marine Landing Craft where the vehicles are on the "inside".

Good Luck!

L4 - I know the one, it is a sweet model.  Why does it not suprise me that you have one?  You have been strangely quiet on the 20k points thread - I think you must break that easily without Titans!  :-:

Yes, it is a very cool model, Tas.  As far as points, well I never really thought about it much, with or without Titans ! :D  But you may be correct ! :;):
