Welcome to the 100th Forge World newsletter! In this issue I have news on what to expect from Forge World at this weekend's Games Day in Canada, eight new releases and a reminder of some of the other shows we shall be attending later this summer.

Tomorrow, Saturday August 14th, is Games Day Canada in Toronto.
http://ca.games-workshop.com/news/cn/ev ... A/2004.htm ?Tony, Warwick, Dean and Jack all flew across from the UK yesterday, determined to help make your Games Day a memorable one.
Dean and Jack are running the Forge World sales stand and anyone who placed a reservation order just need to go and see them. Warwick will be there to talk about the recent release of Imperial Armour Volume 2 and answer any questions you might have on our range of Imperial Armour books. I am not certain what exactly he has taken with him, but he is sure to have details and possibly samples from his current project; Imperial Armour Volume 3 : The Taros Campaign! Tony will be available to talk about current and future plans for models as well as hosting one of his famous Forge World seminars. I cannot recommend seeing one of these enough.

If you want to see some new models, even before we show them on the Forge World newsletter you need to be at Games Day Canada tomorrow. There you will be able to see several new 40K Tau vehicles, Hammerhead conversion kits and a thingy that even we don't know quite what it is yet! The guys have also packed up our first casting of a new 40K Emperor's Children Dreadnought armed with sonic weapons. They grabbed the first casts of some great new 40K desert terrain for the Taros campaign book too!

Hot on the heels of "Imperial Armour Volume 2" is another Forge World book release! Tony has at least one copy of "Imperial Armour Update 2004" with him to show off at Games Day Canada so go and take a look. Released week commencing September 6th and available to pre-order as of now at
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalo....11.html

A few weeks ago we teased you with two new Imperial Guard Sentinels,
http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/rlsent.htm and http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/mlsent.htm . Forge World is happy to say that both of these kits are now available to order for immediate release at http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/acatalo....11.html

Congratulations are in order for Bennett Blalock-Dane. Bennett is the winner of the Forge World Golden Demon Chicago 2004 Best of Show award. After several trips to the Golden Demon judging area I was finally able to make a decision.
Take a look for yourself here,

Well done Bennett! It was a difficult choice and I would like to commend pretty much everyone who entered the competition, the standards of painting and modelling made my job that much more difficult. I am really looking forward to finding out what will win our Best of Show award in Canada and Germany.

That's right, I'm off again to one of my favourite cities for Games Day Germany in Cologne on Sunday August 29th.
http://www.games-workshop.de/home/games ... index.shtm For the first time we shall have a separate Forge World Designers area where the creator of the new Eldar Scorpion, the Tau Orca Dropship and our huge Titan models, Will Hayes will be displaying his work and answering all your questions. ?
The lovely people at Games Workshop Germany have given us even more space this year so we can bring more display cases filled with painted models and lots of models for you to buy. Over the past few weeks a lot of you have been sending us reservation orders. If you have not done so yet, you need to send us your reservation this weekend so we have enough time to pack everything up and load our vans. Place your reservation via email at forgeworld@games-workshop.co.uk titled "German GD Reservation" and we shall confirm all email reservation orders a few days later so you know we have got it. Alternatively you can place your reservation via the telephone using 0044 115 916 8177. We have made a special page showing some of the new models we should have available on the day and we shall update this as we get closer to the event with news and more new releases. http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/gdgerm04.htm

That's all for our 100th issue and I hope you enjoyed it!
Thx,

Ewen Little.
Forge World.

I still can't like the look of the Aquila- The legs are the worst bit about it in my opinion...
The IA books all sound promising though (albeit expensive.. :;): ).
