Doug / Tom,

I wasnt sure which board to post this too as it applies to all three sites, but when it doubt I guess I return to old loyalties  :D

Anyway, onto the point!
Would it be easier for you guys if articles were submitted in PDF format? I have adobe acrobat 5 for work so can easily convert any of my future articles if you would prefer - then all you would have to do is insert the pages & not have to worry about text flow etc. I can just as easily mail you it in HTML, or both! Let me know.

sorry for a delayed reply but for me I compile the Incoming issues in word first then from there into pdf.

Tom seems fine to convert them into pdf for me but I have them as well, I guess its easy and convenient for me that Tom does it to save me time.  So in my case html or docs works fine as an overall opinion.  Its easy for me but maybe Tom would like it different.  Thats my 2 cents anyway.

catch you in 2 weeks

Word documents are more convenient for me, because then I can strip them out into HTML pages when the time has come for them to be added to the articles section :).

I'll stick to HTML like the last one I guess. Sorry for te hassle.

can I recommend then Open Office

http://www.openoffice.org/

to quote

OpenOffice.org is both an Open Source product and a project. The product is a multi-platform office productivity suite. It includes the key desktop applications, such as a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation manager, and drawing program, with a user interface and feature set similar to other office suites?. Sophisticated and flexible, OpenOffice.org also works transparently with a variety of file formats, including those of Microsoft Office.

This means, as Open Source, you can download it and you can save documents in Word format.
