Basically what he did here but smaller

Be warned, if you like crafting terrain, you are going to spend a lot off time on youtube going over all his vids. Lots of cool tricks and ideas in there.

Those boards are awesome, the tiles look fantastic, i have build a space hulk board with doors, minatures etc but never got round to doing the tokens, when i go to it again i will do your method with the tiles, very simple but they look ace and very industrial and space hulky.

top marks and job well done, very clever idea one of the coolest conversions i have seen in a while ;)

Well, I'm still waiting for my figs to arrive :(

To keep myself busy while I wait I've made some highly unglamorous genestealer entry and space marine controled area markers and a 6mm playable version of the chalice and CAT objectives.

Here's a pic to keep you happy till the figures show up ;D

Cheers,
Stroezie.

So I finally found a design that I like for a 3D representation of the force field grenade markers.
Tried a bunch of different things, finally setteled on this, just a simple bead painted kinda forcefieldy...ish I guess ;-)

For Pete's sake Jonesey get that door open that force grenade aint going to hold 'em for long!

Still waiting for my figures to show up, I'm about ready to call them lost in the mail and see about ordering a new batch :(

Hi!

Man, if I didn't know it was a custom project I'd buy one. :)

If Stroezie doesnt mind me pinching his idea - i'd like to try to make these commercially out of plastic.

Making a space ship corridor isn't wildly different from the epic road/canal system we currently make - just narrower.

What diameter are the epic figure circles again? is it 6mm?

Please feel free to pinch away ;-)
I'd love to see where you go with it.
I don't know about the epic figure circles but the figures in my pictures are all mounted on 10mm magnetic disks.

Thanks - i've confirmed epic mimis have a 6mm base, but i will look to accommodate 10mm bases as well.
