Got my big box of goodies yesterday. Everything is grand but the highlight has to be the skinnerz jump packs. Very character full

Good to know. You know I will be making orders for a lot of the miniatures you had on the crowd funder. I really like the Covenent Redeemer, the tainted elites command, the female political officers, the tainted rampager and decimator, the Eloi phase walkers, the tainted elited affray set, the Tainted hecate interceptor and charon ground attack fighter, tainted elites specialist, and skinner drop troops. Especially some of the army or bulk deals.

I will be ordering these when they come out.

Hi Deb, please note that the larger pack sizes in the campaign and the army deals were created for the campaign only, once the models appear in store they will be in the regular infantry pack sizes and the vehicles will be sold in the usual squadron packs.

Army deals were created as a incentive for people to back the campaign, you get the miniatures before store release and at a much cheaper price than normal, I get new products funded quicker than if I completely financed then myself.

So I guess what i'm saying is do not base future purchases on the campaign sets prices as they will most likely be different once released proper.

Cheers

Hopefully in time you will release more army packs for those looking to start new armies. However if you do not, I will try to collect the minis I need as my budget limits.

I'd like to put army deals together but with so many versions of epic it can be problematic creating a deal useful to the different game version players, what's good for EA will not work with Space Marine for example.

You're better off just giving a discount on large orders

Hi!

O concur with jimmyzimms. Unless a GW released version of epic comes around that is widely accepted, its better you incentivize large orders. No point in making rules specific packages if sales do not bear they should exist.

I know that some companies do free shipping for bigger orders, dunno if that's something that's workable?

Hi!

That's an interesting thought too. :)

Free shipping is an idea but in many cases especially for overseas orders i'm supplementing the postage already, because of the weight of large orders postage is often more than the customer payed so I need to make up the shortfall out of company cash.

I often upgrade expensive orders with the tracking service too which costs more than regular first class mail obviously.

Small army deals could be created I have already looked into this perhaps an option for the not to distant future after the campaign is completed, I will consider it at least.

Hi!

In that case a large order would mean different things if your local or overseas to compensate.

Living on an island has all sorts of disadvantages. ;)

On the topic of giving discounts...

I've been buying quite a bit from gcmini.com lately and I like their rewards system (says it's powered by "SLoyalty.com"). You earn 10 points per 1 dollar spent and every 1000 pts is $5 off. I've already used it a couple of times and having a reward that I can redeem encourages me to order again.

My FLGS has a loyalty card that eventually gives you 20% off an entire order. It's one of the reasons I shop there more often than other stores that don't have a rewards program.

State of play

Hello again Backer's,

A little update to keep you all informed on just what's happening.

Good news, I have received this week another batch of campaign casts with more to follow by the end of next week. I will be checking over all this mountain of casts and separating them into individual pledges ASAP.

Bad news, there have been some issues with a lot of the infantry casts so in order to get the best casts possible to you all I have been working on correcting the problems this week and have just shipped the figures back to the casters for moulding. This obviously means that these figure sets will be further delayed with late May sometime as the best estimate for delivery to me I can give at present.

The following sets will be delayed, Tainted command, Tainted heavy armour, both Urban regulars sets, Skinnerz artillery crews, Eloi Phase walkers and female commissars.

So what I intend to do as far as practicable is ship out all pledges with what models I have available and send the delayed infantry sets in a second shipping wave once they are in. Obviously this is not ideal but at least you guys will be getting the majority of your orders and I clear a load of castings I have lying around here. Costly for me to do it this way but I hate to keep people waiting.

Hope you guys find this an acceptable solution.

King regards John
