Welcome to my RAMPANT STARS battle report. This is a generic ruleset for Sci-fi games that are miniature line agnostic, scale agnostic, and usable in any sci-fi setting from a grim dark universe, to Vietnam in space, to the war against the machines. Rampant Stars uses relatively broad unit types and...

I was impacted pretty hard by the whole Photobucket Shennanigans Thing. However, it wasn't all bad. As I was digging through some of my old albums I ran across some old memories too. About 5 or 6 years ago, I had made a Gorkamorka mod called Da Deff Islands Skirmish. Instead of being set in the wast...

I actually disagree with the notion that opposed rolls add any real long term enjoyment to a game. It can often just make things take longer to work out, you have to have the board space to roll dice separately, and it can cause annoying outliers in results. I have gotten Photobucketed. I have updated many of the photos on the Blog, but will not get back to fixing threads for some time.

I apologize for the confusion that Photobucket has caused.

Yeah, I think most of my threads are dead now and I don't want to go back and fix 10 years worth of content. Back in the day PB was the main game in town for photo sharing. :(

This is a first attempt at a Blood Bowl match report. I wanted it to read like a Cabalvision Broadcast of a game on the radio or television. Let me know if you like this format or would prefer another. I have been playing Blood Bowl for a long time, and got the new edition when it came out. You can ...

Can someone point me to a good early jet wargame?

It must have altitude rules.

I prefer no Hex mat, but that can be worked around.

Why do you like the game you are recommending?
