There, finally signed up and sorted out accommodation. As usual, it's the en-suite student room for me. Good to hear you're coming. Now, what to take... Three thousand points instead of four? ;) I'm also in a debate about what to take to Expo and Britcon - I've got something blue, something yellow ...

Just sorted my room at the on-site Hilton hotel - but they said all the Expo cheap rate rooms had gone, and I would have to pay £8/day parking.

Where did everyone else end up?

A question on the schedule - we're only playing two 4k games each day... do we have actual times for these?

Was wondering if there was the chance to sign up to any other events while we were there... or if time was too tight for such foolishness.

That's for all the comments of support, please do keep making suggestions/comments. we definitely have enough interest for this to go ahead. I've uploaded a slightly revised version (v6) of the rules. To respond to a few points: For an example, the intermingling bit can probably be summarised as: &q...

I would like to announce our plans for the (UK) Cambridge Event this year, to be held on Saturday 28th September in Trumpington Village Hall. We have decided to try a doubles tournament. I have uploaded the rules for the event - unfortunately they are longer than I'd like, but only the first 8-10 pa...

Almost list deadline so I thought I'd post my Tyranid horde. Tis a variation on my GT Brute Swarm list - no Malefactors this time (they really are the worst of the AVs), no mixed small swarms, and I've had to concede that I needed to try some Carnifexes (if only because they are almost strictly bett...

A random question. Devestator formations are noted as being allowed the 'Land Raider' upgrade, which states "one to four land raiders" for 75pt each. Does this mean you can add four land raiders to a Devestator formations? The Army Forge Builder (http://traitor-legion.appspot.com/chooser.h...

My army for the weekend. An unusual (as far as I have seen at tournaments) Tyranid list, with no assault swarms. BIG BRUTE SWARM [400] <BTS> 2 Hive Tyrants, 2 Exocrines, 2 Haruspex, 2 Malefactor BRUTE SWARM [225] 1 Hive Tyrant, Exocrines, Haruspex, Malefactor BRUTE SWARM [225] 1 Hive Tyrant, Exocrin...

Just got myself a GT ticket, and I'm booked into the Pine Lodge - was very passable earlier in the year when I was up for BotC.

I thought so too... but my scrapes of paper have it as 32-0 to Andy.

A little summary of my games - I was using a bike + landspeeder ground based marine list. Round 1: Rohan Rohan's Black Legion list is a shooty nightmare. I spent a lot of time trying to avoid getting shot and running around trying to over power small bits of his army. Due to a few fortunate engages ...
