Haha! I'm not surprised considering the 500+ mostly pissed off comments on their post advertising it yesterday.

Sold as a while kit and not as an upgrade spirit as said previously unfortunately. There are hundreds of pissed of AT players commenting on Facebook at the moment.

DaveT is coming so we will be 8. Duncan and Darren are coming too (we're travelling up together and have tickets and accommodation booked) so that's at least 10 (if Kyuss can make it). Steve might just not have updated the list in the first post for a while? I expect we'll get more people, was busy...

Everyone's buying resin printers now it seems (myself included). It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. Do you have a thread where you post your print stuff? I'd love to see what others are doing with it. See this thread if you haven't already http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.ph...

A 'Rapier' scout titan is mentioned in Titandeath. Lighter and faster than a Warhound apparently.

Some posted a nice 3d printed Lucius conversion kit if that's more your style or you fancy a bit of variety. There are free files on Thingiverse and he says he'll model a Lucius style rocket launcher to go on top. https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/45590114_10156997679027792_5097103011767...

Could you arm it with a water cannon instead of a twin gun? It seems like it'd fit the militarised-police theme of these guys better and make the vehicle more distinctive compared tothe many other solely military transports.

Could also add a loudhailer for them to yell at crowds?

I think it’s more likely a conversion - I recognise the top spire as being from another kit. I wonder if it might be made from plasticard but I can’t see one in that pattern from my usual suppliers. Perhaps 3d printed?

GW are working on an AT diorama for the open day later in the month. I'll be keen to see how it looks and the buildings look good made octagonal like that. I wonder if those are new road pieces they're going to sell or if it's just something they've cast up for the diorama? They seem to have detail ...

I don't take a supreme commander in 90% of my lists for any race (not counting those where one is free or mandatory) so yeah that's more of play style preference.

Aside from perhaps Space Wolves Captains aren’t worth it (I proposed a solution years ago tweaking the prices so Captains were 40 points and Chaplains 60 but people didn’t take it up). I occasionally see Librarians but probably 3-4 times as many Chaplains. Many take them but I tend not to bother wit...

Model facing can be another way to differentiate. With rectangular bases I have some with the models facing forwards and some with them facing sideways

Nice paint work :)

How tall is the old Plague Tower model out of curiosity? A recent Black Library novel had a battle where a daemon army summoned 7 of them and each were twice the height of a Reaver Titan. I didn't think the old models were that big but maybe I misremembered?

Yeah mixed feelings about these. The models are amazing but removing the ability to easily pose or convert them is disappointing.
