The Hormaguants mostly aren't glued on yet but I thought I'd mock up a stand as a test of my new oval bases. I like the look :) Much of the in game advantages of a wide base while getting the nice organic curves. I am so ignoring the 3-7 infantry per base rule (there are 13 on this one) to get the h...

Thanks but nah those are units - they're Hive Nests. Bit bigger than normal for a 3DC WE but maybe they're hollow or fragile or soimething. Tyranid Capillary Towers can grow all the way up to space from a planet so the size is reasonable backgroundwise.

I've reuploaded them a different way, hopefully better now?

I did pretty well with my unusual artillery horde tyranid list at the tournament in London this weekend. It can fire 16 barrage templates of disrupt indirect per turn and seems a good list :)

Wow, the size of the queue! First game is meant to be starting now but it's going to take an age to get in. Hope the timing is flexible and we can play on till later.

I saw someone on facebook say they'd heard on the weekend from one of the SG people that they're probably not going to make an Imperator (perhaps eventiually in a few years if the game does well?) but if they do they're upping the relative size compared to other titans and the model would be around ...

OT but an Epic-UK Chaos titan list would be great to add to the list in time too if we’re talking playtesting. Though WAY more important than anything else for you Epic-UK testers should be an Adeptus Titanicus compatible list. In a few months there’ll likely be 10-50+ times as many new active AT pl...

It's be good to see a biotitan list :) I don't have time for protect feedback right now but seems decent from a sick glance.

Hive Nest shouldn't have invulnerable save though. Typo?

Pretty certain the bases are 105 wide for the Reaver and 120 wide for the Warlord Dave.

What's the plan for Sat night dinner? Do we have a booking for a certain time or are we going to see how it goes on the day? I'm a maybe now depending on timing, as I'm going to be crashing at an old friends place in Putney that night but they're not getting home till 9ish so maybe I could eat with ...

I'm taking an unusual scouty, disrupt-artillery list with a load of those floaty skimmer things but I want to keep it a surprise till the day :)

I hope it doesn't come against too many WE though as it might struggle against them (bet I get drawn against Richard's list round 1)...

I believe they said previously they're working on smaller titans too. Unless you much prefer the Lucius look over the Mars I'm not sure they're not good value though. The detail, design and poseability on it is WAY worse and they're currently £37ish plus postage whereas an upcoming Warlord will prob...

Sadly your reliable source is wrong on that. People were asking on Facebook and Andy Hoare (who works for the Specialist Games team at GW) replied and confirmed the Knights are on 40mm bases. If you have a close look at the photos of the Knights on GW's site and compare them with photos of models wi...

List in, I'm going easy on you guys and only running 24 scout units this tournament rather than 30 at my last one :)

So long as I get my half unpainted army done in time anyway...

Epic Armageddon doesn’t specify model or base size for WE so both are perfectly legal and can be used on the table side by side. Heck I’ve used these too Warlord’s together at multiple EpicA tournaments and it looks bad and comical but is perfectly legal. https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/pmiKBVtw7s...
