Cheers gunslinger. I think the additions to the list all made for an interesting new set of options without dilluting the overall theme. It goes a long way towards making the list less of a mono build. Well done!

While it is true that librarians are new to the background, the whole idea of Grey Knights are centered upon psychic mastery. Codex Daemonhunters: Every Grey Knight recruit is an emergent psyker. Grey Knight units have access to psychic abilities. There are no chaplains, nor Librarians. Everyone is ...

The key is to make Inspiring a real choice. Especially since you already have a sunk 25 points’ cost in a captain in every grey knight formation. Inspiring for +25 is a no-brainer for at least two formations. Upping it to +50 makes it a real choice. I could see myself using one. Two would be at the ...

I have done some research on Grey Knights, but am not entirely up to date. Unless something has changed, Grey Knights do not use Chaplains. They are the chapter of the already pure. They are in all incarnations known for their psychic mastery. An invulnerable save to all grey knight infantry is ther...

Another idea would be to ditch purifiers and aff fearless to dreadnoughts, giving them added utility

Hi gunslinger, and thanks for the road map and your design ideas. These are my reflections. Inquisition Storm Trooper: These would be core formations, I suppose? I would prefer Rhinos over Chimeras for your reasons as well as making them differ from Guard storm troopers, and am not sold on adding Va...

Good luck. I hope to see the list being shepherded towards approved. I like the decisions made so far by Norto, and will try to get a few games in before the end of the year.

As interesting as it may be, I prefer the current rule over the teleport homer. It is simpler and more flexible, a trait that fits the teleport mastery concept. Less fiddly, and better. I do not think it is abusive, much thanks to the link to the spacecraft. If it is something that can be abused, I ...

The original LatD is still an option for including guards elements as well. I still think the 1:1 ratio makes even Guards elements restricted. I think you could squeeze in 5 support formations, but you would want at least 3-4 of them to be scouts and aircraft.

I understand your concern, and I too have considered the amazing synergy with Interceptors. Maybe 3+ armour save, Thick Rear armour (and I believe they have Invulnerable save as well). It would fit their Teleport ability and make them Terminator-like, but still not Terminators. They would still be b...

I think it is a good call, since I have had the same thoughts myself. I have had too much of the Necron experience myself. A somewhat fiddlier option would be to keep SR 6, and have the teleport re-roll for turn 1 only, attributing it to pre-planning with psychic shenanigans, but that would only mak...

Hi Norto! It has been a long time since I kept up with 40k lore myself. I think the master of teleport theme is worth pursuing. It would make for a different flavour of Marines. walker would be preferable to no blast markers, keeping in theme with the epic rulesey where nothing is supposed to be cer...

The list looks cleaned up, and I approve of that. I like the land raider transport upgrade option. A few questions and comments though. Am I right when I take it that the grand master and brotherhood champion is on the same stand? The teleport rule bonus is kind of cool, but I do not know if it is e...

Cylinder all the way, adding corners strike me as a very odd design for a tunneller, like looking for trouble. I love the concept of tracks for motion.

For what is worth, I loved Air Superiority and Air Strike for Vietnam air action. Infra-red bore-sight rules made for very entertaining dog fights. More modern air planes and missiles and it became more of a push-your-button-first exercise. Do not really know if it is still in print, but it had a cl...
