Ayup, broken portals are still portals, so it can actually be highly advantageous for the Necron player to have the monoliths break and get a free move out of it.

The newer in-progress Necron list adds some blast marker penalties for moving through a broken portal.

Unfortunately, you'll never be able to fix the pigments exactly as they look dry, it's just not physically possible (adding any sort of fixer changes the way the pigments sit). if true, a bit dodgy as there's a no commercial clause on the license. Seems like a reasonable take, but something that could easily be brought up during the 5 min warm-up. I'd probably go with the whole model must be on the road, but not necessarily the whole base. Which mostly would apply to things like titans whose bases are wider than the span of their legs.

Adepticon released a preliminary event schedule today, and it looks like they're going to have a Titanicus tournament there.

I haven't gotten to play it yet, but from reading the rules it seems like it'd lend itself fine to tournament play.
